The overall goal of the project was to contribute to capacity building of local water and wastewater professionals in Ethiopia and to test highly efficient and economically feasible methods and modules for Hybrid Distance Learning (HDL). The project tested guided self learning approaches using paper based, electronic and CD materials with short visits from supervisors. Voswiz contributed in design of the concept of Hybrid Distance Learning, coordination and training. Two modules for Water qualirty and safety plans and Urban Sanitation were succesfully tested.
